Chuck retired from Intel in June after 19 years with the company. Over his career, he focused on computer software marketing, including product definition, launch, promotion, and business tracking. In joining the Wind & Oar Boat School, Chuck combines his interest in sailing and wooden boats with an interest in supporting ‘hands-on,’ practical education in STEM topics, including an appreciation for the art of boat design. He received his BA from Michigan State University and his MA from Boston College. At BC, he worked in a research institute building econometric models associated with public policy. This experience led to a life-long interest in quantitative and qualitative market analysis as a foundation for business planning and execution. Chuck also received certification from executive education programs including Stanford Graduate School of Business and University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
